Matilda’s Bakehouse: 38 cafés now self-serve orders

Hobart, TAS — sourdough wholesaler, 38 café accounts.

Matilda's Bakehouse wholesale ordering portal

The problem

Thirty-eight cafés texted orders to a personal phone, every night, in every format imaginable. Orders got misread, cut-off times got ignored, and invoicing was a Sunday-night ritual with a spreadsheet and a glass of wine.

The sculpt

A wholesale portal where each café logs in, sees their usual order, adjusts quantities against a clear cut-off, and gets a confirmation with delivery day. Orders roll straight into the bake sheet and invoices send themselves.

The result

Order errors fell to almost none, the 9pm cut-off finally means something, and Sunday nights are back. Two new cafés joined because the portal made ordering “stupidly easy”.

“Cafés love it, my Sundays love it more. Orders arrive correct, on time, every time.”
